Diana Rufes

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our mother, Diana Rufes.

Diana was born on December 3, 1953, to Seriko Salle and Yoshimi Werini in Peniesene, Chuuk, and passed away on September 4 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 70. She is survived by her four children: Jaysen, Joann, Jodee, and Jenneca, and her four siblings: Gina, Nola, Dolores, and Charles. She was a beloved grandmother to seven beautiful grandchildren: Jariah, Ariana, Iosefa, Antonio,Soraya, Seriko, and Cayson, as well as a source of unwavering support for countless friends who felt her warmth and generosity. 

A graduate with an associate’s degree in social sciences, Diana was a devout Catholic who lived her faith daily. Everyone who knew Diana, knew how much she found joy in dancing, singing, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family, who were the center of her life. 

Although she is gone in physical form, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her, as she is now at peace, watching over them with love. To celebrate Diana’s remarkable life and commemorate her incredible journey, we gather on September 28, 2024, at Inspired Life Memorials in Summerlin, Nevada. In lieu of traditional mourning, we request the joy of your company in bright colors, reflecting Diana’s vibrant spirit.
