Guy Howard Oakes

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Guy Howard Oakes, who went to be with our Lord and Savior on November 27, 2024, at the age of 81. Guy was born on April 26, 1943, to Guy and Mary Oakes.

Guy leaves behind his beloved wife of 25 years, Loretta, and their children: Jeff (Lisa), Chris, Jason (Melissa), Brandi (Joshua), and Brittany (Joshua). He was also a dedicated and loving grandpa to his nine grandchildren: Matthew, Jack, Scottie, Savanna, Madison, Jasmyn, Jaxyn, Charlotte, and Madeline.

A man of strong faith, Guy’s life was a testament to love, devotion, and kindness. He cherished his family and leaves a legacy of warmth and strength in the hearts of all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Hope Church, located at 830 Cactus St., on January 17, 2025, at 2:00 pm.

Guy’s spirit will continue to live on in the memories of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be greatly missed.
