A LIFE WELL LIVED
Jeanette Del Priore died peacefully on Tuesday, September 27, just 3 days after her milestone 60th birthday. Jeanette took her last breath and passed from this life into eternal life at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, NV with family by her side. Jeanette was born on September 24th, 1962, in Wilkes Barre, PA to the late Dr. Joseph Del Priore and Marie Del Priore. As a military brat, Jeanette moved overseas living in both Frankfurt, Germany and Aviano, Italy where she maintained deep friendships until her death. Jeanette was a 1980 graduate of Frankfurt High School, completed her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wright State University in 1984 and later obtained her Master’s degree in Psychology from The University of the Rockies. Jeanette was a beautiful soul with an infectious laugh and a personality that could light up the darkest of rooms. She was a friend to many and offered her time and prayers to anyone who needed it. Jeanette was thoughtful, kind, and caring, making loving her easy. Jeanette loved to try different foods and restaurants and was certain she missed her calling as a food critic. There was never a time you could go to a restaurant and not have her text saying, “Don’t forget to take a picture of your food”. It became a thing that even friends of friends would send texts stating, “forward this picture of my steak to Jeanette”. In addition to her mother, Marie, Jeanette is survived by her siblings Felicia (Peter Boudreau,) Luke (Tanya), her nephews Mathew and Joshua (Bobbie Jean), Niece Marissa, her two great nephews Jakobi and Matteo, great niece Legend-Marie, all whom she adored, her Aunt Maria, many cousins and many supportive and loving friends. Jeanette’s final resting place will be at the St. Therese Mission at Old Spanish Trail in the St. Padre Pio Garden.
