In Loving Memory: Linda Marie Mamer Hallgren
Linda Marie, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away on May 30, 2023 at the age of 75. She was born in the Bronx, New York on March 10, 1948, and later raised in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Other places she has called home are Denver, Colorado, where she welcomed her daughters, Amarillo, Texas, Melbourne, Florida, and Las Vegas, Nevada. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends, as she leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of compassion and dedication.
Linda Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Mamer Jr. and Mary Gambacorta Mamer, her daughter Brandy Hallgren Ostler, and her grandparents on both sides. Though her absence is deeply felt, her love and memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Left to honor Linda Marie’s memory and carry on her legacy are her daughter, Dawn Hallgren, and her grandchildren: Maxwell Wolf and his wife Jillian Wolf, Kaitlyn Davidson and her husband Nick Davidson, Cade Ruthardt, Corbin Ruthardt, and Cael Ruthardt. She also leaves behind her sisters, Christine Mamer Brown and Anita Mamer Kinikin, as well as her nieces and nephew: Christopher Kinikin, Tammie Kinikin Bolin, and Stephanie Brown. Additionally, she will be dearly missed by several of her great nieces and nephews, as well as close friends she’s made throughout the years.
Linda Marie dedicated 31 years of her life to the nursing profession, serving as a Registered Nurse. Her unwavering commitment to caring for others touched the lives of countless patients and their families. Her passion for her work and compassionate nature made a significant impact in the communities she served.
Throughout her life, she exemplified kindness, warmth, and selflessness. Her radiant smile and gentle spirit brought comfort to those around her. She cherished spending time with her family, creating lasting memories that will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
During this difficult time, may we find comfort in knowing that Linda Marie is at peace, surrounded by the love of those who went before her. May her memory be a source of strength and inspiration, and may her spirit live on in our hearts forever.
