Maliq Tahjawoin Morris

August 15, 1998 – February 5, 2022

We honor and celebrate the inspiring life of MALIQ TAHJAWOIN MORRIS.

Maliq Tahjawoin Morris was born on August 15, 1998 at Cedars-Sinai Medical in Los Angeles, CA to Tony Morris and Sherryse Williams.
Maliq grew up in Los Angeles, CA where he attended Sixty-Sixth Street Elementary School, Mary Mcleod Bethune Middle School, and after moving to Las Vegas, NV graduated from Del Sol High School in 2016. Maliq also spent time living in North Carolina and Oklahoma.
After graduation Maliq worked in the food industry and volunteered at the local Goodwill where he really liked his work there. He then found his passion working as a security officer in Las Vegas. He enjoyed working the events and providing security for Quest Diagnostics and Anthem Insurance. He truly excelled in his career, worked very hard to prove himself, and was a reliable employee.
When Maliq wasn’t working, he spent time on his video game system, watching basketball especially if his favorite team the “Golden State Warriors” were playing, and most of all wrestling. Maliq was a superfan of the WWE and had a great time at the live matches he was able to attend.
Maliq didn’t always have it easy in life with his health but this young man still went to work daily, provided for himself financially, and maintained his own home. Which made his family very proud of him for accomplishing the goals he had set for himself in life.
Maliq made his transition from this life on February 5, 2022. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents Brenda Thomas, Jesse Mae Everett, and Vernon Morris.
He is survived by his parents Tony Morris, Sherryse Scales, Jidell Scales (Step-father), Daryl Thomas (Uncle), Tyree, T-shyra, Tori, Stefan, Cory, Keayon, Malachi (Brothers and Sisters) Samikey (Bonus Brother) as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family members, and friends.

Rest Peacefully,
Maliq Morris AKA Little Mickey Bruiser
